Accelerated Online Industrial Management Technology Degree

Is this degree right for you?
The Accelerated Online Industrial Management Technology Degree Program was developed with active duty military service members and working adults in mind. In today's professional world, a degree is often necessary to advance or earn promotions. This is often difficult for adults because of other commitments, such as family or work. The Accelerated Online Industrial Management Technology Degree will give you what it takes to advance your career. For more information, you can view a presentation here.

This degree program is designed so that you can take advantage of experience you already have. There are a variety of ways to do this:

• Use training or certifications you received at work
• Use your military training
• Use your prior experience to take subject based exams

The Accelerated Industrial Management Technology Degree Program classes are held online in an accelerated format. The degree takes just 18 months or less to complete. Students who begin the program with some college credit or who have applicable work or military experience may finish the program in 12 months or less.

Students move through the program as a group and generally take two classes each session. Using an accelerated eight-week semester format, this program allows you to complete your degree much more quickly than other programs. Each term, you will automatically be enrolled in class. Students must meet College-wide payment deadlines, and students must drop classes that are not needed. Enrollment in the classes you need to complete your degree is guaranteed. Requirements and information about classes offered in each 8-week term are outlined for the complete degree.

When you're finished, you'll be ready to enhance your value to employers with an up-to-date knowledge of management and computer skills. Florida Community College has negotiated Articulation & Transfer Agreements to facilitate the transfer of credits earned for this degree to bachelor degree completion programs at the following colleges and universities. All of these bachelor degree programs can be completed through distance learning.

Entry Requirements for the Accelerated Degree Program

• Complete an application to Florida Community College
• Complete the Program Enrollment Form
• Accelerated degree advisor will contact you for enrollment in courses
• All transcripts must be received from all previous schools attended and from learning experiences including DANTES, CLEP, Excelsior, military training and experience, and ACE
• Remedial courses, if needed, must be completed
