Intro To Personal Computers For Seniors Level I - TIS 0248
In this course you will learn the components of a personal computer, the correct way to turn it on and off and how to use a mouse. We will explore what an operating system is and what it does and how it interacts with application programs. When you have completed this course, you will feel comfortable using a personal computer and will be able to perform many basic tasks, such as navigating around the desktop, playing a game, and loading a program.
Intro To Personal Computers For Seniors Level II - TIS 0249
We read and hear about the Internet all the time. But do you know what it is and how to use it? After you complete this course, you will know how to use Microsoft's Internet Explorer to surf the World Wide Web. You will also learn how to use Microsoft's Outlook Express for e-mail to contact and communicate with your family and friends. Upon completion of this course, you will have a basic understanding of the Internet and how to use it. Prerequisite: Introduction to Personal Computers or permission of the instructor.
Word for Seniors Level I - TIS 0141
You will learn basic document skills, includin text editing, document views, character, paragraph and document formatting, and printing.
Email for Seniors - CCE 0046
This course will teach the basics of email, how to get your own free email account exploring the many options available to you on the internet. Additionally, this course covers how to send, reply, forward emails as well as include attachments such as photographs or documents.
