The Institute
OSHA has estimated that more than 32 million
workers are exposed to 650,000 hazardous chemical products in
more than three million American workplaces. This poses a serious
problem for exposed workers and their employers.
Through the Institute of Occupational Safety
and Health (IOSH), your employees will receive training that is
consistent with OSHA standards. IOSH offers certification and
refresher courses that your company may need to stay in compliance
with OSHA regulations. For added convenience, courses are offered
either at Florida Community College at Jacksonville facilities
or at your worksite.
IOSH is a member of the Partnership
for Environmental Technology Education (PETE). PETE's Mission
is to provide leadership in environmental education and training
through community and technical college partnerships with business,
industry, government and other educational providers.
