Application Instructions for ARMY Students Through the GoArmyEd Virtual Portal

Below are instructions for completing your application for FCCJ through the GoArmy Ed portal, how to pay the $15 application fee, and how to request an evaluation of your military transcripts. If you have questions or problems completing the information below, please call the Centralized Tuition Assistance Management (CTAM) Helpdesk at 1-800-817-9990 or call an FCCJ Military Education Institute (MEI) Advisor at (904) 357-8890, (904) 632-5084, or toll-free at 1-877-633-5950 ext 8890. You may email an advisor at military@fccj.edu.

1. Go to the GoArmyEd website if you are Active Duty Army, Active Duty Army Reserve or Active Duty National Guard.
2. Log in using your Username and Password. If you do not have a username and password please call the CTAM helpdesk at 1-800-817-9990.
3. Then select “My Virtual Education Center.” A drop down menu will appear.
4. Select “Before You Enroll in a Course” from that menu.
5. From the next screen, select “Complete/Update Common Application.”
6. Choose FCCJ as your school.
7. After filling out the application, click on “submit” at the bottom of the page. This will electronically send your “Common Application” to FCCJ for processing.

Once your application has been processed at FCCJ, please visit www.fccj.edu to create a username and password for your "Artemis" account.

8. If you are a Distance Learner and decide to enroll in online classes, complete the FCCJ “Online Orientation” at Online Orientation.
9. Request the College Placement Test (CPT) from FCCJ by calling (904) 632-5009 or toll free at 1-877-633-5950. Ask for Carl Jowers or email Carl at cjowers@fccj.edu.
10. Send FCCJ your “Official” High School transcript and any previous college transcripts from other institutions to:

    Florida Community College at Jacksonville
    Attention: Records and Registration Office
    940 N. Main St., Jacksonville, FL 32202

11. Pay the $15 application fee via your Artemis account, by telephone at (904) 632-5036, or mail a check or money order to:

Florida Community College
Open Campus Business Office
601 West State St.
Jacksonville, Fl. 32202

12. Once you have completed all of the above items your registration for FCCJ is complete. Now you can submit a registration request for FCCJ classes through the GoArmyEd portal.
