Associate's Degree for Navy Accelerate to Excellence Students

Want to get paid to go to College?
Earn $475 per month while attending two semesters of community college!

The Military Education Institute at Florida Community College has been selected by the Naval Education and Training Command to offer two different Associate's Degrees as a pilot program for Delayed Entry Program sailors who meet certain ASVAB and GPA scores. All 26 Recruiting Districts in the United States are seeking minorities and women in non-traditional aviation and other technical rates. Each of the College’s degrees will maximize the number of credits earned while on active duty and can be completed after three semesters of classwork, Navy Boot Camp and “A” school in Pensacola, Florida for the following rates: ABH, AC, AD, AE, AM, AS, AT, AW, CT and IT.

The Institute offers the following degrees:

  • Associate in Science in Industrial Management Technology, a mid-level management degree.
  • Associate in Science in Industrial Management Technology with an emphasis in Electronics Engineering.

The first two semesters are completed at a regionally accredited local community college followed by active duty in Boot Camp, completion of the third semester in Pensacola from Florida Community College instructors, and finally “A” school before being assigned to the fleet.
